Wroughton 2006
On
August 6th 6 intrepid venturers met in Greasy Joes Cafe in Cirencester.
It was just pure coincidence that they do a really good breakfast.
Fully sustained we started off towards Wroughton for the show. We
wended our way through the lanes of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
We stayed remarkably well in convoy until Wroughton itself.
Somehow Tony got seperated so we all waited for him on the edge of the
airfield. Big mistake!!!! While we waited for John in his TF
to catch up Neils Midget decided to give up the ghost. No option
but to tow him into the site. There were hundreds of classic cars
there and it was a really good show. It was excellent weather and
the side show of heads into Neils bonnet was great, but they
managed to sort him out. After a full day in the sun we were
looking forward to a nice drive home and a relaxing evening. It
was the end of a perfect day. Cant wait till next year! We
have already said we want to go.
