EVENING  RUN  HELD  ON

Just a short note to say that on an evening that was promised thunder, lightning and torrential rain, 15 cars still turned up for Neil’s and John’s evening run.    4 or 5 braved the forecast in their MG’s but the majority appeared in “tinned hats” of various breeds.   We ended up at the Rising Sun Hotel on Cleeve Hill where we all wetted our insides after missing the worst of the weather.  Many comments were received about the possible good views from the hotel had the weather been better----me thinks we should adjourn one Thursday Club meeting to the Rising Sun when we know the weather to be good !!!

PS This was the day we say lightening in the valleys below us.  Boy was I glad to get to the pub to get a drink!.  Just to settle my nerves you understand and unfortunately just the one as I was driving
