Sunday Lunch at the Lamb, Eastcombe

Christmas was fast approaching and most people were looking forward to the calm before the shopping storm. As a consequence of this a small but select group of twelve were due to attend. At the last minute illnesss forced two to cancel. Still, that left 10 to brave the wilds of Eastcombe and sample the sights and scenery of the Toadsmoor valley.

It was a very nice lunch with enough for all. There was even Crumble to finish up with. I think that we took a years supply from the pub as it was an almost universal choice.

After the meal when we were all sated and relaxed we adjourned to our house for more chatting time.

We deemed it as a rehearsal for the forthcoming Christmas meal on the 10th!
