Rita and Adrians Third Run

Well our run is over for another year, you spend hours preparing and re running the route and then all of a sudden its over. Everyone enjoyed it and many of you said it was a cracking run! We didn't know whether it was refering to the route or to the destruction of their sumps as there were a few areas that could have caused it.

Luckily its good to have a top solicitor on hand, we asked Mark and he said if we mentioned the bumpy roads and sump cleaning in the route notes we would not be liable for the repairs incurred. Fortunately, we all got round so no problems. Brian did mention that he was grateful that he had ordered a new set of springs with exceptional foresight.

Everyone arrived promptly with one couple even being a week before the deadline. Graham and Pam must have been keen!! 14 cars arrived and were duly despatched. The first car got lost and had to called back even before they hit the first instruction. I dont blame Tim, it must have been his nagitator (sorry Lou).

Everyone got round and we had a really nice BBQ at the Crown at Frampton Mansell -our thanks to the staff there.

I think the highlight of the evening was when the solitary Triumph in the car park realised not only was he outclassed but he was also outnumbered - he fled with exceptional speed for a classic car.

Rita was really pleased with all the good comments and next year she says she might allow me to help a bit! I cant wait!
