All Day run 15th October 2006

Now, wheres that car that needs fixing!!!!!

The early morning mist was soon to lift revealing a pleasant but overcast morning as we gathered for coffee.

Andy & I were so pleased that so many of you were able to take part in our run, we had the first crew away by 10:35 & much to our amazement no one got that lost ! By Midday the sun showed its face for a short time & while us men chatted about MG stuff the Ladies went on a spending spree in the Garden centre!  

As Andy & I were waiting back at the Pub news filtered through that one team had suffered  mechanical failure, but this seems to be expected with the Britannia Rescue sponsored  Mullins Team! It's becoming apparent there fleet is just not prepared for all day events!

We would like to thank all that took part in our run & were thrilled with all the positive comments you gave us & look forward to running it again next year in the summer as, Joyce suggested.

I would like to thank Steve & his staff at  THE WHITE HART INN Maismore for providing us with coffee & a Superb Sunday Roast to finish the day, & hope he can accommodate us for next year.

Many thanks again for supporting these runs, as many of you know it does take a lot of organising & it is so satisfying when you get a good turn out.
